What we collect
When you make an enquiry we collect the details you give us: your name, contact details, and what you tell us about your project. If you build a fabric board, it is stored in your own browser, not on our servers.
If you use the room visualiser, the photograph you upload is sent to our server and to the AI services that read it and draw the new version. We keep the photograph, the picture we make from it, and which fabrics you chose, so that your result stays available at the link we give you and so we can see which fabrics people are drawn to. We do not attach your name, your email or your address to any of it.
Why, and the legal basis
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and to carry out any work you ask us to (our legitimate interest and, where relevant, to take steps to enter into a contract). We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to help you, and then a reasonable period for our records. Any photos you send in support of a quote are kept only as long as needed and then deleted.
Room visualiser uploads are deleted automatically after 90 days, along with the picture made from them, so a link you were given will stop working after that. Which fabrics were chosen is kept for up to 365 days without the photographs. If you record a screen walkthrough for us, that recording is deleted after 30 days. This happens on a schedule; you do not have to ask.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold, or object to how we use it. That includes a room photograph you uploaded: send us the link you were given and we will remove it. Email info@simonhoulding.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner (ico.org.uk).
